|  | These photos took a while to make it onto multiply. I made this trip up to Takayama in Feb. to visit some friends and I took part of the walk you can find in the other Hida Takayama album.
Japan clearly shows the four seasons...as they pictures illustrate.

| | Hi! Here are some pictures from a recent walk I went on in the historic town of Hida Takayama. These pictures are from the Higashiyama Walk which features some beautiful Buddhist Temples and Shinto Shrines as well as the feeling of a rural mountain farming town.
These pictures are in the order that I walked the Walk. I hope they give you an idea of the feeling in the area. It is something of a virtual tour! I hope you enjoy it!
