I will be visiting Japan for the first time in 3 months and will be there for 6 weeks(i will post plenty photos). i want to try and see and do as much as i can while im there, however i am finding it difficult to find information in english on some sites. Can anyone recomend any good places to see live J-Rock bands either in Tokyo, or anywhere else for that matter. I am also looking for information on Martial Arts classes in Japan, preferrably Kickboxing, how much do classes cost? can i go along for only 1 or 2 classes? where can I find information(J-Network is only in Japanese). Any recomendations or information will be greatly appreciated. |
| Hi
How are you? I am a member of Japan and currently working in Tokyo. I have a friend looking for an interpreter next week in KL. Are you or any of your friends are native japanese or speak japanese fluently? Even if your friend is in Sabah/Singapore or any parts of Malaysia, the person will fly your friend to KL. Good salary. Please help me find at least 1 person to get involved. If your friends are not free this week, please also let me know if they are interested in future interpretations. I prefer very fluent japanese speakers, but if not so good, then we will try them. Please broadcast this to all your friends. Thanks. Please email me at philchlee@gmail.com if you have a contact. Even if you are currently far from KL, let me know in case there is an opportunity near your country one day.
Cheers, Philip Currently in Tokyo |
| Jum'at, 3 Februari 2006, pkl.17.00 > 22.00 Sabtu, 4 Februari 2006, pkl.06.00 > 17.00 Seluruh halte TransJakarta Koridor I (Blok M - Kota), kecuali Harmoni www.ccfjakarta.or.id - info@ccfjakarta.or.id
Seniman yang berpartisipasi: Reza Afisina, Claude Clodsky, Haris Epaminonda, Judit Krutag, Ange Leccia, Saverio Lucariello, Nicolas Moulin, Cécile Paris, Mathieu Rouget, Jean-Claude Ruggirello, Lionel Sabatté, Jeanne Susplugas, Prilla Tania, Muriel Toulemonde, Nicole Tran Ba Vang, Yi Zhou
Seperti apakah karakter seorang seniman video Prancis?
| Hi,
I was wondering if any of you have been to Shikoku... have you been to any of the 88 temples in the famous pilgrimage?
Thanks,

| Hi, everyone!
I posted about 50 pictures of cherry blossoms I took about a few weeks ago. I think this season(correctly, about a week of spring in April) is one of the most beautiful seasons of Japan. Please visit my site!!

| Hi everybody,
Konbanwa! (Good evening)
COngratulations, the group now has 100 people! Omedetou gozaimasu!
I think that by signing up all of you have expressed an interest in something about Japan... I would imagine that for each of you that special something about Japan really varies.
For some, I'm sure the aesthetics of the culture, the rock gardens, tea ceremonies, and classical architecture is a big draw for many.
Other will be very drawn to the futuristic innovations in the field of electronics, transportation, and buildings.
Still others will be drawn to the arts... the ways...
The marital arts: Kendo (The Way of the Sword), Kyudo (The Way of the Arrow), Judo, karate and jiujitsu.
For others ikebana (flower arranging), chado (tea ceremony), kimonos and yukatas
Then of course there is anime and manga... with world wide very dedicated followings.
Others will be interested in Japanese spirituality such as Japanese Buddhism sch as Zen and the worshiping of nature and the deities of creation, the universe, and the spirit realm: Shinto.
Finally, sure there are many lovers of Japanese cuisine among you sushi, sashimi, tenpura, shabushabu, miso soup....
And then perhaps even those who are just curious about this land of contrasts from hot springs, skiing, from Okinawa's beaches to Hokkaido's lavender field.
So what aspects of Japan interest you?
Yes, you... you've made it all the way to the end of my post... what are your thoughts on Japan, what stereotypes are you curious about verifying or disproving, what have been highlights of visiting or utter disappointments?
Have you learn the language? What do you think of Japanese... is it easy to learn? Have you mastered hiragana and katakana? Do you know many kanji yet? Any interest in the Japanese Proficiency Tests?
Do you know good vocabulary builders, dictionaries, grammars etc...
Have you read any Japanese literature, poetry, do you practice shoudou (calligraphy)?
What are you interested in?
Let me know... and then let's discuss!
Best regards!
